Radiation Safety for Neutron Moisture Gauges, Industrial Gauges and Borehole Logging

Duration

One day class room or distance mode.

Objectives

To develop or enhance the skills and knowledge required for the following:

  • users of neutron moisture gauges
  • workers and maintenance staff who work in an environment where Industrial Radiation Gauges are used
  • sites who need to manage contractors performing borehole logging on site

The training explains the risks related to radiation exposure, discussions of the most likely accidents involving the sources, the design safety features of the sources used in the workplace and the related basic operational safety systems used in the workplace.

Delivery

Class room based delivery at our venue, or delivered specifically for clients at their venue and contextualised to the client’s specific systems.

Distance mode is also available with email/telephone/facetime contact (if required) and ongoing mentoring and feedback on submitted evidence.
