This workshop focuses on the risk management process as a management tool for efficiency, quality, safety and other relevant aspects of management. With a safety focus, it includes developing an understanding of how to effectively implement the safety obligations of a frontline leader and how to effectively communicate, monitor and control the risk priorities within the team.

The critical workplace skills and knowledge components of the units of competency which have been mapped to this learning program are from the following units from the Qualification BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management:

  • BSBWHS401 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements.
  • BSBRSK401 Identify risk and apply risk management processes.
  • BSBLDR401 Communicate effectively as a workplace leader.
  • BSBCMM401 Make a presentation.

This learning program will be delivered over two (2) days. FREE additional post course feedback on specified work based activities is available and strongly encouraged after the learning program. Additional support days are available (corporate groups only) where a site wishes additional skill development in order to meet specific standards of practice.
