RIIRIS301A Apply Risk Management Processes (formerly QMS1), RIIOHS301A Conduct Safety and Health Investigations (formerly QMS2) and RIICOM301A Communicate Information (formerly QMS3)

1 days plus submission of a portfolio of evidence.

Objective
To ensure the learner has the current competencies to meet the requirements of these units of competency including:

  • Risk management focusing on
    + the appropriate identification of hazards and analysis of risk
    + selection and implementation of control measures
  • Incident investigation focusing on
    + adequate preparation for conducting an investigation
    + appropriate analysis of information to identify immediate causes (contributing factors) and underlying (real) causes
  • Communicate information focusing on
    + Appropriate communication skills to deliver a shift meeting or toolbox talk

Delivery
Class room based delivery at our venue, or delivered specifically for clients at their venue and contextualised to the client’s specific systems.
