TAE Cert IV in Training and Assessment (Part 4: Design & Develop Learning & Assessment Resources)

3 days plus project work.

This learning program applies to personnel in the workplace who are responsible for planning and validating assessments, and developing assessment tools. It focuses on the development of an assessment plan, the collection and development of effective and relevant assessment tools, and the competencies required to participate in assessment validation. This learning program also covers the skills and knowledge needed to identify the parameters of a learning program, determine the design, outline the content and review its effectiveness. The units of competency which have been clustered for this learning program are:

• TAEDES401A Design and develop learning programs
• TAEDES402A Use Training Packages and accredited courses to meet client needs
• TAEASS401B Plan assessment activities and processes
• TAEASS403B Participate in assessment validation

We recommend the following personnel attend this learning program:

• Training Coordinators / Managers

This learning program will be delivered over three (3) days. Additional workplace assessment is required after the learning program. Additional support days are available where there is a requirement for participants to complete as much of the assessment as possible within the training period.

NOTE: We recommend attendance and/or competence for "Assess Competence" (or equivalent) prior to attending this learning program.

Background

The full qualification “Certificate IV in Training and Assessment” requires participants to complete 10 units of competency to attain the qualification. These 10 units have been packaged into 4 learning programs (see below). To improve flexibility for our clients, you may register for each learning program individually:

• Train Groups.
